US Presence In Iraq Needs New Strategical Approach
April 24, 2008
The American military presence in Iraq poses a major problem with the local population who see them as invaders with & 39; army and its allies d & 39; occupation of their territory. & 39; C is for this reason that many insurgents grow in most parts of the country s & 39; oppose their presence. Whatever the number of & 39; infrastructure and public works & 39; that they have been rehabilitated or constructed, they are still perceived by locals as an uninvited guest on their land. More & 39; the U.S. military and its allies stay on their territory, the more they are felt unwanted by the majority of Iraqis before people.
The likely reason is the lack of knowledge by the American army & 39; on Population local culture despite their objective they are trying d & 39; secure and help them. It & 39; is a secret to the local population, that the American presence is associated with the American & 39; interest for their oil and a tactical maneuver USA neutralize any solid training blocking force Arabic anti-American or anti west sentiments which could be detrimental to U.S. interests in the region if left unchecked.
The creation of a State & 39; Israel at the expense of the Palestinian people & 39; event is the turning point in the middle of l & 39; story is that for the first time had the presence to the USA and & 39; influence felt in the region. It was also a strategic ploy to take advantage of any political or military solidification of Arab countries where the USA informal annexes Israel as its virtual state. He described the latter as the recipient and beneficiary of multi-million dollar annual unemployment to & 39; economic aid to support its existence. As long as Arab countries disagree, they can never be united on a common ground to protect their interests and culture.
The probable second reason is that & 39; c l & 39; extend U.S. military presence and its allies polluting their mandate Islamic culture by western culture which paved the way for social permissiveness or & 39; opening under the guise of democratic freedom. Permissivit social and & 39; opening & 39; such as it is practised by the west & 39; n & 39; is not allowable, and a social taboo in Islamic society which considered this issue as purely private . The Islamic culture can not be separated within society & 39; because it provided a framework not only in Arab culture, but the Persian culture as well.
The d & 39; other probable reason is that interference business d & 39; others, irrespective of & 39; goal and intention & 39; n & 39; is not tolerated in Islamic culture, especially if it involves supporting sovereign states. It would then be an effort upstream to the USA that what is past & 39; s in Iraq, to get sympathy and support of these people. It might be better for USA d & 39; adopt a new approach in their Middle East policy. Instead & 39; s alienate the population mutual respect on its respective culture should be strictly observed, which is the key to understanding for both parties without jeopardizing the & 39; friendship. Qu & 39; east-which could be in the west & 39; could be taboo in & 39; east or vice versa.
